Steph and Dino get hitched

More from Steph & Dino's wedding here

On Friday I got to travel down to Taumarunui (everyone has to do the drive at least once in their life, its BEAUTIFUL!!!) for Steph and Dino's wedding the following day.

Steph and I use to work together, when we were both students, in the Waikato Hospital kitchen. Since then, I've been blessed to be able to photograph her pregnant with their beautiful little boy Moses and then again for some family shots when Moses was just over a year old.  Now just over two years later, I was stoked they asked me to photograph their wedding in the home town of Taumarunui.

Surrounded with their awesome family and friends, it was an amazing day!! The weather, setting, people, food, entertainment were all perfect. Definitely the highlight of my New Zealand holiday. They are the sweetest couple too, so lovely and grateful for everything. Geez, I could go on!! But I'll let you look at just a few of my favourite pics from the day instead...

Just thought I'd do a quick update before I head out to Taumarunui for Steph and Dino's wedding...

Yesterday I headed out to Rotokauri to Photograph Rachael, Chris and Nathaniel across the road from their home. The setting and lighting could not have been better with a beautiful glowing sun setting behind the trees, we got some awesome pics of them!

Checkout my two favourites...

Summer 2011

So, I've been a busy beaver over the past couple of weeks, who would've thought I was on holiday? Na but I've loved it! Being able to shoot in places I haven't been for a while and people I haven't seen in a while. These included the Gold Coast, Pakiri and Raglan. So heres a sneak peek at some of what I've been up to, with more to follow...

The beautiful (almost) 2 Milla was photographed by me way back when I lived in Brisbane. She was only a few weeks back then so it was awesome for me to have the chance to see just how much shes changed!

When I flew into New Zealand a few days later, my next stop was Pakiri, right near our family Marae. This time round I was meeting up with the Tapsell family while they were staying at the beach for their summer holiday. It was great being able to shoot them all in a relaxed way and to get a beachy feel in the photos. The eldest son is off to Otago Uni this year so it was a good time for them to actually get the photos done. At the end of the shoot the three brothers blew me away with some of their ukulele playing and singing!! I told them they should be on Xfactor or something haha, they were amazing!!!

Next up for now is a high-school friend of mine and her Fiance, Gina and Jim. We went out to Raglan for part of the day to the scene of the crime haha, na, just where Jim proposed to Gina a few months back. I really love how their shots turned out, and for people who say they dont like smiling in photos, I got some beaut smiles :)
